The Annual sponsored Ride for Africa is a 10 mile ride or
walk through the picturesque landscape of the parishes of Fairlight, Pett and Guestling
in East Sussex over normally inaccessible farmland and
woodland.
The ride is organised by the Kent and East Sussex Friends of
FARM to raise money for FARM-Africa. FARM-Africa is a charity
that helps farmers and herders to establish simple but very
effective enterprises that help them out of the cycle of famine
leading to a sustainable future, free of dependency on aid.
The previous years rides have raised
over £9000 which has made a big difference to the lives of hundreds
of families. It could have been 350 families receiving a local milking goat
or 5 villages receiving a new well.
Please help us to make
a difference to the lives of lots more families this year by taking
part in the Ride for Africa. For more information on the work of FARM-Africa please visit their
