| Ride for Africa 2009 is on Sunday 30th August | |||

Although in previous
years the Ride for Africa has been largely a sponsored horse
ride this year we are encouraging walkers to join us and support
the great work of FARM-Africa. There will be refreshments at the
halfway mark and plenty of places along the way to rest and
enjoy the views. The route goes through picturesque farmland and woodland that is normally inaccessible to the public but is opened up for the day by landowners to support FARM-Africa. The thousands of pounds that Ride for Africa raises each year helps FARM-Africa to transform peoples lives by providing training and support to poor rural communities who rely on the food they grow and and the animals they keep to survive. We hope you can join us in supporting this worthwhile cause and look forward to welcoming you either as a walker or a rider to the Ride for Africa this year.
