The Robin Hood Pub, Icklesham recently hosted the annual prize giving evening for this year's winners who raised the most money by way of sponsorship. Tim Jury presented the prizes and before doing so mentioned all the helpers and sponsors of the event. Firstly this ride could not take place without the consent of the landowners and Tim wished to thank Brian Bellhouse, Paul and Ali Elliott, Tom and Cath Wells, Jill and Chris Chinnery, Brian and Anne Barker and Mrs G Leach and family. It cannot be stressed enough that the ride/walk route is almost entirely on paths/trails not normally accessible to the public which makes the ride even more appealing. Secondly Tim paid tribute to the various people who donated prizes, his team of helpers principally Tracey, Millie, Jill, Andy and many more but lastly the riders and walkers who turned out to take part. | ||
